IDEAS FOR A TASK-BASED INSTRUCTION
1)      The students interview the classmates to prepare a poster with the class preferences. It can be linked with math, in this case, the students would put the percentage or number of  students in the class that eat (fruit/vegetable), that like (fruit/vegetable), that don’t like (fruit/ vegetable)
2)      The students have to make a glossary with all the fruits and vegetables learned.
3)      Students have to say what they need to prepare their favorite dish. OR The students say the ingredients necessary to make their favorite dish or any dish and the rest of the class has to guess what dish they are talking about.
4)      The students create a menu for a vegetarian restaurant. After the menu is ready, it can be used to learn other functions of the language, such as “ordering Food” in a restaurant.
A: What would like to order?                               B: I’d like……..or I’ll have………………..
A: What kind of dressing would you like?          B: I’d like …………………. Or I”ll have…………………….
A: What would you like to drink?                        B: I”d like …………………. Or I”ll have …………………..
A: Would you like anything else?                         B: Yes please. I’d like some water. OR No, thank
                                                                                         you. That will be all
